In late 2024, we brought something back to our NLP Practitioners, something we'd forgotten for over 15 years.
In our first days running NLP training, we gathered our students regularly.
Sharing and teaching new NLP material, but somewhere along the way, life and business got in the way, and it stopped.
Almost by accident, we started it again.
Our NLP Alumni Meetings.
Here's how it actually works.
When a student is doing something interesting, we ask if they'd like to share it. If we think it's worth the room's time, we prepare a proper session around it.
Not an open mic.
A deliberate choice, because we think this specific person has something worth other people hearing.
Some sessions are squarely about business, AI applications in HR, for instance.
Others go somewhere less expected.
A student presenting Bazi.
Another letting us experience sound healing.
What connects them isn't the subject. It's that someone in our community is genuinely good at something, and wants to share it.
Some sessions are full.
Some are quiet, maybe just about 10 people.
And everyone is welcome back, wherever they are right now. We even have students joining us from overseas to get back the feeling of being in the room again.
Because it's an evening, people are tired, and not every topic is for everyone.
Both kinds matter equally.
Because that's not really the point.
The point is that our students don't disappear after ten days.
They get a room where what they're building now gets taken seriously enough to prepare a session around, in front of people who trained the same way they did and won't flatten it into simple small talk.
Some walk out with a new friendship.
Some walk out with a collaboration neither of them expected.
Some just walk out having been properly hugged, because yes, we are a hugging company, and the hugs are real on both sides.
Nobody is required to come.
It's just proof that the room we built together didn't close the day the training ended.
That's just who we are.
