WHAT CHOPSTICKS CAN TELL YOU ABOUT LIFE

Let me tell you the story of how I messed up eating with chopsticks in the beginning and what it says about my beliefs.

When I was young (some time ago πŸ˜‰), I was an active Judoka.

Competing nationally and regionally. Alone and with teams.

Whenever our team successfully completed a judo competition, my trainer invited us to a Thai restaurant for a celebration.

We could order whatever we wanted.

On ONE condition.

My trainer would only pay when we ate with chopsticks (I believed him, even so, now, I think he just teased us πŸ˜‚).

So we tried hard and we struggled badly.

Food flying all across the table.

No one had taught us how to eat with Chopsticks.

And we were just young teenagers, celebrating, and we surely didn't want to pay.

I thought I did pretty well, finishing my food.

Many years later, already in Malaysia, someone told me how to eat with chopsticks correctly.

Boy, I was holding them so wrongly before that lesson. I had no idea. I was proud of my little skill.

But this is life, right?

How many times in our life do we believe that, what we are doing, we are doing fine?

Believing that everything is fine!

At work......

In our relationships.......

In our business........

In sport ......

Don’t we always believe we are doing fine, until others, or even life, point us in the right direction?

Maybe we wake up in the middle of the night, sometimes, wondering, what could be done better.

Or we compare ourselves and wonder, how come others seem further ahead.

Well, believe me, I was there as well, and had to go through some hard--(ish) times.

I woke up to reality - my reality - and made the changes in my life.

To become who I am today. While continuously developing and using the skills I learned to continue my journey.

hashtag#NLP and hashtag#timelinetherapy Techniques helped me to crush limiting beliefs and negative emotions.

And create my life the way I want to create it.

How are you coping in your life?
