Isn’t this a wonderful quote?

It is from Milton Erickson. Milton Erickson was a #hypnotherapist, living from 1901 to 1980.

Milton singlehandedly created a different approach to #hypnosis and moved it from the more authoritarian to the more maternal way of guiding people into a trance state.

He hypnotised his patients through normal conversations, and stories, kind of like conversations, you use, day by day.

Just that he did it with a purpose.

Through his guidance, he helped a person gain access to inner resources - strength and capabilities and to use these inner resources to overcome a presenting problem.

I thought hard, about what to post today on LinkedIn when I thought about this quote.
